Why DACA Should Not Be Removed

DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) has helped many immigrants, like myself, who came to the United States at a very young age, it gave us the opportunity to be able to get a stable job by giving us a work permit and continue pursuing our dreams. At age 5, I migrated from Mexico to Texas and since then it has been the only home I know. DACA should remain and they should let the Dreamers keep working, finish school and let them achieve their goals, at the end of the day, we are humans and deserve to make our dreams come true.
DACA allows immigrants who were brought to the U.S. as children, completed or are in high school, and who have not committed a crime, to obtain work permits and have temporary protection from deportation. Every two years you need to renew it, which includes a fee of $495. As of now, they are not accepting no more new applications but those who were already under DACA can renew. The U.S. is the only country that these Dreamers know and established their lives here, and if DACA is removed they have to go back to a country that they barely know. When they apply for DACA, they do a background check to make sure you have not committed any felonies. I do not see why they do not want to keep it if every person who is under DACA contributes to the U.S.
In Conclusion, DACA has helped many immigrants have a better job and continue to pursue their dreams. If they take away DACA many of them are not going to be able to finish school and/or work in their dream job.
